A fresh start for 2021, how many of us are making our New Year’s Resolutions for 2021? What are the top resolutions people tend to make?

According to the YouGov, one in five (19%) of Britons plan on making New Year’s Resolutions for 2021. Resolutions are most popular among those aged 18-24 and women (23%) more likely than men (15%) to plan on making resolutions for the New Year.
Unsurprisingly, health dominates the top three New Year’s resolutions in a row since 2019. The most popular in the list is doing more exercise or improving fitness which has contributed 53% and follow by the losing weight at 48%. Others, improving diet has also the top three from the list which has contributed at 39%.
The biggest Non-health resolution is saving money which has 39%, result shows resolution-makers aiming to put away money as saving this year.
Additionally, because of COVID-19, consumers are now becoming more concerned about the environment and health. According to the research from FMCG Gurus, people turned to be more conscious about their overall health. They wanted to eat and drink healthier to maximize their health, to boost their immunity and reduce vulnerability to disease/illness.
